Your photography time capsule

I read recently that in home photography sessions are like a time capsule for future years and generations. Not only do they allow young children to interact and show off in the comfort of their home but they allow us as parents or our children as they grow, the opportunity to look back over beautiful imagery of their family and all that encompassed their lives at that given moment in time. From the prints that adorned their walls, their bedrooms, favourite toys, recent birthday celebrations and artwork. These photography session allow you to look back over the years and return to old memories.

This was my 3rd session with this family, I’ve captured each of their 3 children for newborn photography sessions. The first in a makeshift photography studio in my home, the second in their starter home and this one, possibly their forever home? The doormat in this first shot was captured at their second daughters newborn photography shoot and has traveled with them to their new residence…missing the H now on the welcome HELLO, this small detail itself must tell a story.

I could’ve shared all 150 shots from this family newborn photography session but you get the idea, this is them in the moment welcoming their newest sweet addition Ted but it’s so much more than just a newborn photography shoot…it’s their families time capsule.
